Graphic Design
When Hendrix played Woodstock, the backstage pass was merely a necessity.
Now it is a work of art.
Brand extension
Credentials should feel like they belong to the show.
Today, artists spend hours tooling logos, images, and colors to create passes that are more than a necessity; they are works of art. Your tour, festival, conference, or hospitality event is your brand, and ACCESS keeps that brand consistent across every credential.
The ACCESS team has been awarded for both design and printing of event credentials. Metallic and holographic foil, UV blacklight-sensitive ink, and custom die-cut shapes help badges become secure keepsakes long after the event is over.
From ideas scribbled on bar napkins to complete brand guidelines, the art team can turn the resources you have into event passes that are beautiful, functional, and production-ready.
The design process
A clear path from assets to production.
These are the steps you will experience when you work with ACCESS.
-
Order placement
You specify the pass size, shape, versions, quantities, and any constraints that affect the design area.
-
Art assets
Send logos, brand guidelines, sponsor art, color references, or rough ideas so the team can work from the right source material.
-
Design proof
The art team builds a digital proof with concepts that fit the look, use case, and security needs of the event.
-
Complete proof
Once the direction is approved, ACCESS sends a complete digital proof showing every product in the order.
-
Pre-press setup
Final artwork is prepared for production and transferred to the in-house production team.
Proof sequence
From supplied logo to print-ready layout.
Print terms
Production language, made plain.
ACCESS grew out of the concert and touring industry, so the process is built for tight deadlines without compromising quality.
- Pre-flight
- The process where a collection of computer files is transferred to pre-defined templates for digital printing.
- Die cutting
- The process of using a die and press to cut specific shapes out of a substrate.
- Substrate
- The material that is printed on: paper, Teslin, card stock, satin cloth, and other credential materials.
- Teslin
- A waterproof synthetic printing medium made from a single-layer, uncoated film that is strong, recyclable, and non-toxic.
- Satin
- A cloth substrate with an adhesive back for single-use passes, commonly called stickies.
- Digital proof
- A PDF file that shows how the order will look when completed.
- Hard proof
- A physical sample of the product, typically overnighted for approval and available per proof or version.
